Presentation

Visit the cave with our passionate guides

Listed as a National Heritage Site for its geological and archaeological interest, the Grotte Saint-Marcel - with its 64 km of network - is one of the largest caves in France.

Your guide will take you on a 400-metre tour for an hour to help you understand the phenomena that led to the formation of the galleries, which are finely sculpted by water.

Magnified by 2 sound and light shows, two rooms will reveal their greatest treasures: the Cathedral room with its immense concretions and the sublime Cascade of gours and its string of over a hundred pools of calcite water.
