The Triathlon des Gorges is back!

The Gorges tourist route will be closed on 6 July from 8.30am to 12.30pm for the Gorges Triathlon.
The cave will only be accessible from the village of Saint-Marcel via the D201 and the route de la forestière (see map below). 

Swim, cycle, run..... Imagine yourself in unspoilt natural surroundings, the ideal place to get away from it all .... 

The Triathlon des Gorges is organised to surprise with the crossing of the Ardèche by a temporary boat bridge (those known as "Trempe-culs" use the ford towards Aiguèze).
It was built to give a better idea of where the 2 neighbours, the Ardèche and the Gard, stand. It is designed to inspire visitors with local produce and know-how.
 

The Grotte Saint-Marcel is a partner in this great event again this year!

We're giving all the young competitors free entry to visit the cave, and for the podium finishers in the 'Adults' and 'Cadets' categories, we're giving them a half-day caving trip to discover new sensations!
